Terms and Conditions

A. We will be accepting submissions for “Hello! My Forbidden City! ” Art Exhibition from today to August 16, 2020(Eastern Standard Time); B. This Exhibition is open to children and teenagers between preschool and high school (age from 4 to 18). Participants must abide by the rules of the NOBO Committee. Individuals should submit their artworks directly, and groups should submit their artworks collectively; C. Incomplete or unclear submissions of applications and required information will not be accepted; D. If artworks are selected to be shown in the exhibition, participants are responsible for domestic shipping. You will be responsible for your travel arrangements to the opening ceremony, exhibitions, or any meetings; E. All artworks must reflect the theme of “Hello! My Forbidden City! ,” with no restrictions on style. NOBO Committee will not be accepting any submissions and related documents that do not meet the rules and requirements of this Exhibition; F. All submitting participants must agree to the following: a. the artist reserves attribution to his/her submitted artworks; b. the organizers (NOBO Committee and Tomato Art School) reserve the copyright including the permanent right to exhibit or publicize all or part of an artwork on media outlets; c. the artist should not seek any reward for artworks used to promote the Exhibition or other activities, including promotion through digital media and the internet; d. the organizers reserve publication right; e. the organizers reserve the right to use the artwork and the artwork image in the Benefit Auction, and produce art derivatives based on the artwork image. G. After the exhibition, artworks will be collected by the organizers for future exhibitions; H. During the event, participating exhibitors may not request or accept any form of sponsorship from organizations or individuals without the consent of the organizers; I. Submissions must be completed independently by the submitting artist, who has independent, complete, clear and uncontested copyrights. In addition, artworks must not infringe on any third person’s copyrights, portrait rights, reputation rights, privacy rights or other legal rights. Exhibitors shall bear all legal responsibility pertaining to issues such as copyright infringement and controversy; J. Expense explanation: a. At the same time of submitting the artworks, the exhibitors shall pay the organizers $49 per person. The fee includes courses registration and application, and will not be refunded after payment; b. After being selected for the US exhibition or China exhibition, exhibitors are required to mail the artworks to the Organizer’s office in the US and pay $69 per piece for exhibition, which will be used for the artwork mounting, exhibition venue rental, exhibition building. If the exhibitor fails to send the artworks to the organizer or pay the exhibitor fee within the specified time, the exhibitor shall be deemed to have given up the exhibition opportunity; c. After the successful payment of the exhibition fee, the exhibition fee will not be refunded if the artworks cannot be sent as scheduled due to the exhibitors’ own reasons. d. If the exhibition cannot be held as scheduled due to irresistible factors, the organizers will adjust the time / venue in time. If exhibitors are unable to participate due to irresistible factors, the organizer will refund part of the fees (deducting the fees already incurred); K. The organizer will not be responsible or compensate for any damages caused by accidents such as weather and fire during the exhibition, transportation or storage. Exhibitors are strongly encouraged to purchase insurance for their artworks; L. All submissions will be examined by the academic committee, whose decision is final. The academic committee is required to make decisions based solely on artistic stand, without any prejudice, preference or political position.; M. The NOBO committee reserves the final right of interpretation for the terms and conditions. A. “你好呀!故宫”展览即日起征稿,2020年8月16日截止征稿(以美国东部时间为准); B. 本次艺术展面向全世界学龄前至高中的青少年儿童。投稿者必须遵守NOBO无界组委会的各项规定。个人直接报名投稿,或组织集体报名投稿; C. 如参展者所提交的报名和作品信息不齐全、不清楚,将视为弃权; D. 如果作品入围展览,作品邮寄费用由参展者自理;如果想亲自参加画展开幕式、观看画展或参加会晤安排,相应行程费用由参展者自理; E. 投稿作品需符合主题“你好呀!我和我的故宫”,风格不限。所提交作品和相关文件与本次艺术展有关规定和要求不符者,将视为参展者自动放弃参与本次活动的权利; F. 投稿者均同意接受:a. 所有投稿作品,作者享有署名权;b. 本次活动组委会(NOBO无界和蕃茄田艺术)拥有投稿作品版权,有永久使用权将其作品的全部或部分做永久展出,或在媒体刊登;c. 作品用于宣传艺术展及相关活动,并包括在网络上用图像数据展出等,投稿者(作者)不作任何索酬;d. 组委会拥有出版权;e. 组委会有权将其作品或作品图像用于艺术公益拍卖或衍生品制作; G. 展览结束后,作品将被组委会收藏,用于未来后续的展出; H. 未经本次艺术展组委会的同意,参展者不得因参加本次活动而要求或接受任何组织或个人任何形式的赞助; I. 投稿作品必须为投稿本人独立完成,并对其拥有独立、完整、明确、无争议的著作权,同时要确保作品没有侵犯第三人著作权、肖像权、名誉权、隐私权及其他合法权益。若投稿作品出现侵权或版权争议等问题,一切法律责任由作者自负,与主办方无关; J. 费用说明:a.报名者提交作品的同时将支付49美元。费用用于课程注册和报名组织费用,费用一经支付概不退回;b.作品入选美国展览或中国展览后,参展者将作品邮寄至组委会美国办公室,并支付69美元的参展费用,费用将用于作品的运输和展览等支出。若参展者未能及时将作品邮寄至指定地址或参展者未能及时支付参展费用,主办方将默认为参展者自愿弃权;c.参展者成功支付参展费用后,由于参展者自身问题导致作品不能及时邮寄至指定地址,费用概不退还;d.若展览因不可抗因素导致无法如期举行,组委会将及时调整时间。若参展者因不可抗因素导致无法如期参加展览,主办方将退还部分费用(扣除已发生的费用);K.作品在参展、运输、展出等保管过程中,由于天气、火灾等意外灾害造成的损坏损失,主办方不予负责和赔偿,请参展选手自行为作品购买保险; L. 学术委员会的评选决定为最终决定,学术委员会有义务在纯粹的艺术立场上作出选择,并不能带有任何偏见、利益偏好、或政治立场。每幅(组)投稿作品均将经学术委员会评选; M. 本次展览的相关规定最终解释权归NOBO无界组委会所有。
