No-Boundaries @ Beijing

The Pre-Exhibition of “No Boundaries” International Youth Art Exhibition was held at the PENN Wharton China Center, Beijing, China on July 1, 2016

On July 1, 2016, the Pre-Exhibition of “No Boundaries International Youth Art Exhibition” , co-organized by United Nations Chinese Book Club, Beijing Contemporary Arts Foundation(BCAF) and New York Elite Map. Inc, was held at the PENN Wharton China Center, Beijing, China. More than 50 Chinese central medias outlets and 10 art institutions attended and reported on this event.

A brand new approach was taken to the coverage of the "No Boundaries" International Art Exhibition Pre-Exhibition. The reporting of the entire event was conducted by online and offline media outlets simultaneously. Le Live Television and Kuaishou live Television streamed the event online, reaching a considerable number of viewers. Various traditional media outlets, including Hong Kong Satellite (HKS) Television, NingXia Television, Inner Mongolia Television, Shanxi Television, Xingwei Video, New Space Live Television and Beijing educational channel also reported on the event. Our collection of artwork began exhibiting in April. Around 200 students from 50 universities and high schools from all over China applied to participate in the exhibition. By June 1, artwork from 332 participants had been received for the Beijing Pre-Exhibition. During the selection progress, 164 more participants submitted their entries.

The TOP three participants were announced and presented with awards at this event. The First Prize winner was Zhai Yuedi from Central Academy of Fine Arts, Second Prize winner Chu Yu Shan from Beijing No.4 High School International District, and Simone Zhao from Dulwich College Beijing took third prize. The rest of the Top 100 art pieces were on display and the exhibition was streamed live, receiving a lot of attention and praise from all social circles.

40 pieces of art among the TOP 100 were on display at the No-boundaries@UN International Youth Art Exhibition on August 14th at the United Nations Headquarters.
